ATELIER OF RHYTHMS - workshop

The Atelier of rhythms is a permanent workshop on rhythms, mainly from West Africa.

Through its activities focused on music, songs and some dances, it creates a space for learning rhythms through a methodology that privileges oral communication and the taking place of rituals

Each rhythm of the African tradition is an open window for the knowledge of the African culture in a broader sense, when it is deeply linked to the fundamental moments of the organization of the society: baptisms, weddings, festivals, rituals of foundation of a village, rituals that accompany the cycle of the seasons in agriculture.
